Bradford District High School Prom 2010

     To celebrate our graduating grade 12 students this year, Bradford District High School will host Prom on Friday May 28th, 2009.  The event will take place at The Club at Bond Head, which is located at 4805 7th Line, Bond Head, Ontario.  Guests may begin arriving at 6:00 pm where they can enjoy non-alcoholic cocktails and have their pictures taken by a professional photographer.  Dinner will be served at 7:00 pm which will be followed by dancing, awards and a slide show.  The evening will conclude at 12:00 am, where students are asked to arrange their own safe transportation home.

     To inform students of the details of the event we are holding a Prom Assembly on Wednesday April 14th during period 5, from 11:55 to 1:10, for all grade 12 students.  A police officer from the South Simcoe Police will present at the assembly, informing students about the consequences of under-aged drinking and driving while under the influence.  At the assembly, students will receive an information sheet outlining the details of the Prom as well as a B.D.H.S. Prom Agreement, which needs to be completed, signed and returned before students can purchase a Prom ticket.  All information can be found on our Prom Wiki at http://bdhsprom.wetpaint.com.

     Tickets will be sold from April 29th until May 4th during the lunch period. The cost of a Prom ticket is $80 per person.  In order to purchase Prom ticket students must have a signed B.D.H.S. Prom Agreement and Student Activity Card.  If your son or daughter does not have a Student Activity Card, they can purchase one through Students Council for $15.

     Prom is a wonderful opportunity for students and staff to celebrate an end to high school and the beginning of new opportunities for our graduating students.  We appreciate your support in making this years Prom a safe and successful one.
